Sign InTrue devotion is not merely the performance of rituals or the recitation of prayers. It is the complete surrender of one's ego at the feet of the Lord. The Bhagavad Gita teaches us that true devotion involves offering all our actions to God without expecting any fruits in return.
When we understand that God is the ultimate reality behind all creation, our devotion becomes pure and selfless. The devotee who sees God in everything and everything in God has attained the highest form of devotion.
श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता में कहा गया है - "सर्वधर्मान्परित्यज्य मामेकं शरणं व्रज" - Abandon all varieties of dharma and simply surrender unto Me.
This surrender is not passive but an active engagement with divine will. It requires constant awareness and mindfulness of the divine presence in all our activities.
