Message to Chi. Sow. Aarshaa

(Reply to her letter)

Oh! Aarshaa! You mean that you are the issue of sages,

Your father is sage of knowledge, Brahmasutra, the water,

Your mother is sage of devotion, Bhaktisutra, the manure,

You are their fruit, the practice, the tender mango plant,

To yield sweet divine fruit in future, the ultimate salvation,

I am the poor farmer sweating in this spiritual agriculture.

 

Devotion without knowledge is baseless and collapses

Like a huge castle without its underground foundation,

Gopikas were huge visible castles in their last birth,

But, their basic hidden foundations were built by them

As sages for millions and millions of births previously,

Knowledge without devotion is useless, mere foundation

Without the upper castle to be used for living happily.

 

I am beyond space and time, always moving with you,

Be confident about Me and My unimaginable powers,

Your love to Me is the sweet musical flute in My hands,

Your faith on Me is the bright peacock-feather on My head.
