Proving Bond with God

[29.11.2003] O My son! Listen carefully. Practice and get uplifted in spirituality. It is not considered great what we can give to God. It is considered great what cannot be given by us is given to God and this proves our strong bond with Him. The act of giving depends on the value of the item given. Prayers through words and meditation through the mind are offered to God. What is the value of words and mind, even if one is satisfied with their sacrifice? One does not give even a single paisa by selling words and mind in the shop. That means we are giving only a worthless item to God. We are giving money in movable and immovable forms to the children and wife. Therefore, compared with the bonds of wife and son, the bond with God is very dim like the existence of a kerosene lamp before the sun. In this way, we are not only insulting God but also deceiving Him by making false claims that You are everything for us. Thus, the two sins of insult and deception haunt the devotees. They offer their words, mind, intellect and memory to God, but they give the heart, which is the place of love, to their wife and children. So, O My sons! Criticize yourselves. Realize the truth. Let's shape our lives in the right path. Let us follow the the preaching of Sadguru in word and spirit and be grateful to Him to transform our lives because Sadguru is described as "Satyaṃ Jñānam Anantaṃ Brahma" in the Veda.
